Setting quality standards since 1969

Borne of a personal medical need, Claire Farr founded Klaire Labs on the premise that clean, pharmaceutical grade formulations should be the model for nutritional supplements. The medical community took notice, and Klaire Labs became the standard bearer of purity, potency, and performance.

The Beginning

Claire began her journey with single ingredient formulations. Unlike most nutritional supplement manufacturers at the time, Claire purchased only pharmaceutical grade raw ingredients selected specifically for maximum purity and bioavailability. She avoided the use of fillers and synthetic ingredients while focusing on natural and synergistic constituents. Each product was carefully and purposefully crafted to ensure the maximum benefit in its purest form.

At the same time, Claire was formulating her products, practitioner demand for higher quality nutraceuticals was growing. Many food sensitivities and common allergens were being identified in patients, and practitioners were looking for supplements that would provide high potency doses of clean and effective ingredients.

Klaire Labs™ was sold to ProThera, Inc. in 2004 and later acquired by Soho Flordis International (SFI) in 2013. The entrepreneurs of SFI saw in Klaire Labs a shared vision and set out to unify sister brands ProThera and Complementary Prescriptions under the founding principles of Claire Farr herself. Toward that end, SFI made an immense investment in a purpose-built cGMP manufacturing plant in Reno.  As we transferred each product in the portfolio to the new Klaire Labs facility, we evaluated the formulations through the exacting Klaire quality lens and unified under the Klaire Labs brand umbrella and philosophy.
