International Private Labeling Policy

ProThera Inc. dba SFI USA™ provides its customers with “private labelling services” for in-house formulations and custom formulations.

Customers who engage “private labeling services” must ensure that the claims made on these labels are compliant with regulations relevant to the jurisdiction in which the products will be marketed. Label claims should be appropriate to the product and written to conform to legal and regulatory parameters within the local market.

The customer alone (and at customer’s own expense) undertakes all activities necessary to accomplish registration and/or notification within the specific jurisdiction. The customer is responsible for the fulfillment of any additional health, legal and administrative requirements concerning importation, storage, promotion, sales and distribution of the private-labeled products. The customer assumes all responsibility for any loss or damage suffered or incurred by SFI USA for failing to act according to this clause.

The customer must present SFI USA with all legal and regulatory requirements for compliance at the beginning of the private-label process. SFI USA will evaluate and within reason, make all scientific, analytical and basic technical documentation available in support of the customer’s compliance activities.

The customer will provide confirmation that the private-label product has been duly approved (registered or notified) within 14-days of receiving confirmation from the regulatory authority.  Labels will not be printed until the confirmation has been transmitted to SFI USA™.  Please contact us for compliance support.

The customer should refer to the “International Shipping Policy” for information regarding product shipments.  The customer assumes all risk, costs and liabilities associated with clearing product(s) through local customs and border control. This includes any duties, fees, and other associated costs. SFI USA™ will not refund or credit purchase or shipping costs previously paid by the customer for shipments that fail to clear customs.  Rules for importation vary by country.  Refer to the import regulations specific to the targeted market.

The customer must request correct documentation for customs clearance prior to placing an order and assumes all responsibility to provide SFI USA™ with a valid and complete list of required import documents.  Discussion and communication between the customer and SFI USA™ are essential to the success of the process.

SFI USA makes no representations, warranties, or assurances as to the accuracy, currency, or completeness of the information provided. SFI USA shall not be liable for any damages or injury resulting from non-compliance to local market regulations.

Private Label Artwork & Design:

Labels: 2-3 weeks for printing services and application to packaging once approval to proceed is received.

Please allow 6-8 weeks for full production turnaround time.

Minimum Order Quantities: 

120 bottle per product minimum

Artwork & Design Terms: 

SFI predesigned templates are available at no cost. A standard fee of $85/hour applies to custom private-label artwork and design.  The customer is responsible to pay any billable artwork labor at $85 per hour when artwork is rejected or cancelled.

Customers are responsible for providing label images, complex designs, and specific text fonts. SFI USA™ assumes no responsibility for unauthorized label claims and/or infringement of copyright or trademark design.

The customer assumes responsibility to retain legal counsel regarding label requirements and/or intellectual property protection. SFI USA™ will not be held liable for any label claims and/or label requirements.  Accordingly, the customer should refer to appropriate regulatory guidelines regarding compliant labels within the targeted jurisdiction.
